Master of Science in Applied Computational Economics and Sustainable Energy
The Master of Science in Applied Computational Economics and Sustainable Energy provides graduates with an in-depth understanding of key micro- and macroeconomic models in use by practicing economists. Graduates will possess the skills to undertake statistical, econometric, as well as data analysis of major contemporary economic issues and be well equipped to conduct independent, original research. The coursework in the Master of Science in Applied Computational Economics and Sustainable Energy focuses on applying the quantitative skills acquired in core coursework to solving complex issues related to the energy industry. The well-rounded programs provide graduates with advanced skills in applied computational economics, an in-depth understanding of economic phenomena, and the ability to analyze and solve complex economic problems. The Master of Science programs also include a capstone project that allows students to work individually with two advisors and sharpen their research skills.

The curricula for these highly specialized programs were developed by Clover University faculty and leadership, its Board of Advisors and feedback from industry experts and employers.
Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics and Sustainable Energy

The Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics and Sustainable Energy is a 15-credit hour professional, interdisciplinary, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program. This program is composed of five courses (3 credits each) and provides graduates with the tools needed to successfully start or advance their career in data analytics/data science with a focus on the energy industry. The successful completion of 15 credits is required to obtain this graduate certificate. All credits earned in this program can be counted towards the Master of Science in Data Analytics and Sustainable Energy.

Master of Science in Data Analytics and Sustainable Energy

The Master of Science in Data Analytics and Sustainable Energy requires the successful completion of 30 credits in order to graduate. The coursework is composed of five core courses in data and statistical analysis (3 credits each) and four courses in energy sector analysis, economics and sustainability (3 credits each). Additionally, in a capstone project (3-credits), students will apply data analytics and statistical tools to solve energy sector challenges. The capstone project is designed to allow graduates to sharpen their research skills by working closely on their individual project with two advisors. Graduates thereby have the opportunity to analyze a problem, working on a question from beginning to end and communicate the results in the form of a presentation and a report.

The curricula for these highly specialized programs were developed by Clover University faculty and leadership, its Board of Advisors and with feedback from industry experts and employers.

All courses focus on getting graduates job-ready and foster hard skills as well as analytical skills and presentation and writing competencies required to communicate findings to a variety of stakeholders. The Master of Science program also includes a capstone project that allows graduates to sharpen their research skills by working closely on their individual project with two advisors. Graduates thereby have the opportunity to analyze a problem, working on a question from beginning to end and communicate the results in the form of a presentation and a report. We encourage students to select topics that are relevant to their workplace. The coursework completed for either of the two Graduate Certificates in Data Analytics can be fully transferred to the Master of Science in Data Analytics and Sustainable Energy.
