Transferring Credits to Clover University
Students transferring into a Master’s Program can transfer up to two graduate courses (or six hours of graduate credit) provided that these courses are comparable to those offered by Clover University. Students transferring into a Graduate Certificate Program can transfer one course, provided that the course is comparable to a course offered by Clover University.
The course must be a graduate level course from a college or university that is certified by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. Students with international transcripts must have these evaluated by an external evaluator. The university can provide students with a list of evaluators upon request via email to
info@clover-university.comThe course must pertain to the curriculum of the particular degree program that the student is applying to and the course content must closely match a course offered by Clover University.
Students must have earned a grade of B or higher in the course to be transferred.
The review to determine transferability will be done considering the following:
Official transcripts
Title, syllabus, course description and objectives
Should approval be granted, the transfer of credits will be based on the original semester hours or term hours of the course to be transferred and converted to Clover University’s transcript requirements.
Transfer Credit Appeal Procedure
Students who believe that the evaluation of their transfer credits from other colleges and universities needs to be appealed should proceed by sending an email to the Office of Academic Affairs (admissions@clover-university.com) explaining why they believe that the response from the Admissions Committee was inappropriate.
Transferring Credits from Clover University
A student wishing to transfer Clover University credits to another institution or university should note that the acceptance of Clover University credits and/or the acceptance of a degree earned at Clover University is subject to the sole discretion of the receiving university.
