Clover University’s online environment requires students to have access to technology that allows them to attend virtual, lectures and discussions and to complete online proctored exams. The minimum technological requirements are therefore as follows:
Student Equipment
Online learning requires use of a desktop or laptop computer, an internet connection, and basic software. You may also use a hand-held device (e.g., tablet or smartphone), although there may be restrictions for some courses.
Computer and Internet Connection
You will need regular access to a computer with an internet connection. High speed broadband access (LAN, Cable or DSL) is highly recommended for the optimal learning experience. You should have reliable access to the Internet with good download and upload speeds, at least 512 kbps.

Your computer should support the following general requirements:
Video card (preferably in HD)
Sound card
Speakers and a microphone or headphones with built-in microphone
Webcam (built-in or USB)
Broadband internet connection
For some courses, you may have more advanced system requirements. Each course instructor will provide any additional requirements for his/her course in which you are enrolled. Students are responsible for their own operating systems, speed of internet connection, and any third-party software downloads.
