The Graduate Certificate in Applied Computational Economics is designed to provide graduates with an advanced foundation in macro- and micro-economics and relies heavily on data, statistics and math. Master of Science in Applied Computational Economics
The Master of Science program in Applied Computational Economics provides graduates with an in-depth understanding of key micro- and macroeconomic models in use by practicing economists. Graduates will possess the skills to undertake statistical, econometric, as well as data analysis of major contemporary economic issues and be well equipped to conduct independent, original research. The coursework in the Master of Science in Applied Computational Economics focuses on applying the quantitative skills acquired in core courses to the areas of Development Economics, International Economics and Public Finance. In a capstone project students work individually with two advisors to gain greater expertise in their chosen field of specialization and sharpen their research skills.
